Description
Microwaveable warming pillow to soothe body aches and pains. Filled with lavender bud and flax seed. Soft cotton flannel cover is removable and washable. Available in red or green plaid as well as bears enjoying the starry night sky.
Contents: Fill 50% lavandula X-Intermedia buds, 50% flax seed, cotton fabric.
Instructions:
1) Remove the inner lavender & flax pillow from the cotton flannel sleeve.
2) Place a mug of hot water next to the pillow in the center of your microwave.
3) Microwave the mug and pillow in short increments of about 30 seconds.
4) Remove the pillow from the microwave after each increment and massage the
contents to evenly distribute the heat and ensure that no ‘hot spots’ are created.
5) Repeat steps 4 & 5 until your pillow is at the desired heat. Microwave strengths
vary, but the microwave increments usually add to about 2 to 3 minutes total.
6) Return the pillow to its flannel sleeve and enjoy its soothing warmth and aroma!
Tips and Cautions:
The cotton flannel sleeve may be removed from the pillow and washed.
Be sure to keep the inner lavender & flax pillow dry to avoid mildew.
Do not leave the microwave unattended or allow children to perform this process.
Do not overheat or microwave too long as you may scorch the lavender & flax.
You can add a drop of essential oil after microwaving if you’d like a stronger scent.
Your pillow may also be used as a cold pack! Place in a plastic bag and freeze.
