Lake Holm Lavender LLC is a private five acre farm located just SE of Auburn, WA. Lake Holm Lavender LLC announces the permanent closure of our farm small business effective 1/1/2026. Due to the continually rising cost of supplies and product packaging plus the lack of affordable farm labor, our small business can no longer operate. We wish to thank all of our customers, market managers, and other farmers and vendors who have supported us. We still have over 1,000 healthy and beautiful lavender plants on our property but we are not open to the public. We no longer make or sell any products. Our Facebook page and e-mail will remain open for future communication. Thank you for your interest in our farm, we wish you all the best in 2026 and beyond!
Help! How do I care for my own Lavender Plant?
For every farm you visit you’ll find a farmer with their own advice, here is ours!
Lavender is a robust, happy plant provided that you give it some basic care. These guidelines are general and you should take into account your growing region as well as what other types of plants you might have near lavender that might have differing needs. Have fun!
- Full Sun! Lavender will soak it up
- Well draining soil, lavender does not like to be wet
- Soil Ph around 6.5 – 7.0, get soil testing through resources such as King Conservation District
- Minimal watering, in some regions rainwater is all you need
- Prune, prune, prune!! The more you prune it, the more it likes it
- Generally speaking, fertilizers or mulch may work against you
